Our Story
Sun Sweet Ceramics began as a spark of inspiration from artist Mary Adele, who discovered in clay a peaceful rhythm -- a way to connect art, energy, and emotion. What started as a quiet time at the pottery wheel soon grew into a heartfelt mission: to create art that heals, uplifts, and reminds others of their worth.
Every piece is handcrafted with intention, shaped by hand, and guided by the flow of nature. Mary's designs draw from the textures of the earth -- the curve of a leaf, the warmth of sunlight, the calm of water -- blending beauty and balance in to functional works of art. 
Our Process
Each Sun Sweet Ceramic piece begins with raw stoneware clay and a vision rooted in feeling rather than perfection. The clay is hand-thrown on a Brent black pottery wheel, carved with organic patterns and glazed in soothing, natural tones. The result is pottery that feels alive -- where each drip, curve, and variation tells its own story.
Many designs feature free-flowing carvings and nature-inspired motifs, representing energy, renewal, and growth. Occasionally, Mary's children add their creative touch, turning some pieces into joyful collaborations that celebrate art for all ages.
